Handspun Cowl
Hand spun yarn is precious...it seems to cost a lot...but really it has a lot of time and thought involved in it. I love making yarn...and using it...but even after it is down to the last few yards I feel so guilty just sticking it in my stash...for "one day". So this week I gathered up some of my small yardage of hand spun...mostly mine but a couple of Luna's and made an eclectic cowl with them.

More from 2011
2012 arrived...and I still had so much to blog for 2011...why did I stop? Life got complicated. Now looking back I wish that I had blogged more of my year :-(
Here are some items from last year that I still want to share:
Cowl made from Mountain Colors...crocheted--made it up as I went :-)
Polworth from New Zealand by Maude & Me
Spun by me...plied with a lot of help from a friend ;-)
knitted into a hat for me!
Crocheted a baby hat while visiting my friend.
Hat to match a sweater I knitted back in the Spring.
Christmas Weaving Workshop
Uncle Jims Christmas Scarf
Sweater for Ruth
